Re: X axis stalling at high speeds

Hi again,

I have removed and cleaned the nuts and followed the lubing procedure, but I'm still experiencing stalling, even at 1500mm/m, it seems more apparent mid - 3/4 of the x axis travel, are there replacement nuts available if these are worn? Or could it be an issue with the motor?

Re: triac pnc ballscrew

Oh, I didn't realise you could get them reballed,....:-D I assume that is alot cheaper than a new one. But that is the issue, quite a while ago I stripped the machine down and lost a few ball bearings from the x axis ball nut, recently it has been, almost like snapping in the axis, at certain points...

The fuses are fine, switched the machine off, when ON, there are only LED's lit on the Y and Z axis, and the Y and Z axis move ok, X axis moves ok when you plug the r...

X axis drive failed

Hi all, On my microrouter pro, the x axis drive has stopped working, I have checked the voltage going to the drive which is good, I have swapped over the connector and fitted it to the y axis and the x axis motor moves fine, which tells me that there is an issue with the drive, there are no leds ON,...

corect usb cable

I have just recently acquired a micro router compact, aug 2004 model, with usb connection on the side, but I have no usb cable with the machine, is there a specific cable that I need to purchase or is it just a normal usb connection on one end and a printer type square connection on the other end?

z axis slide rail assembly

Hi all, I have noticed that there is alot of movement in the z axis assembly that hold that holds the motor on the slide rails, this has become apparent when trying to skim a job and I end up with an uneven finish, also when there is a change in direction of cut. Is there any adjustment to tighten u...
