Cyclone TU150P (Fanuc OT) on Phase Converter

Is it possible to run the machine using a converter 2, What spec converter do I need 3. Would it be easier to convert to single phase (new PSU, drivers, st...

Re: Triac VMC Homing Problems
Problem has been fixed. Z lower limit switch contacts were fused together, making the circuit N/O. Removed the switch and reworked. All ok now

Re: Triac VMC Homing Problems
Hi. Thanks for the reply. The axes do not move when I press to home the machine. The problem could be a home switch or a cable. I am still trying to diagnose which switch or cable is faulty

Re: Triac VMC Homing Problems
Hi. Unfortunately I cannot home any of the axes. I have checked the sensors with a meter and they are all OK. Only other thing it can be is one of the cables from the main box to the sensors.
If I need to change a cable is there any info on how to go about it?

Re: Triac VMC Homing Problems
One of the 3 switches or one of the cables going to the switch is faulty. I am a bit puzzled on how to change the switches or cables as the access is limited to the cables which run through the casting (have to take the machine apart to get access). How do I change the switches? Could anyone advise ...

Triac VMC Homing Problems
I am running a Triac VMC. It refuses to home. I have taken the various covers to get access to the home/ref switches and none of them are sticking. It may be a faulty cable. Does anyone have any suggestions as to fixing this as I cant run the machine without homing as it has an 8 station tool change...
Re: Triac VMC
It was doing around 50mm/min in the video. I couldn't machine much quicker as the part was only held with double sided tape. I reckon it could easily do 1.2m/min if the block was in the vice. Notice also the toolchanger has been raised 30mm for extra clearance when changing tools. I am getting anoth...

Re: Mach 3 Triac
I havn't actually carried out the conversion but the man who has will hopefully post a reply explaining. I have since purchased a Triac with a toolchanger from him which will be operated using Mach 3 also. I could use 4 Triac's as they are perfect for my needs and I mostly cut aluminium. I am hoping...

Re: Mach 3 Triac
Here are some pictures of parts I have made on the Triac
I make 1/32 scale models for sale, mostly from aluminium and tooling board.
The part being machined in the video belongs to the model of the slurry tanker.
I use Mastercam and Deskproto to create my G Code

Suds/Coolant pump
Hi
I noticed the coolant flow is not very strong on my Triac. Is it possible to clean around the pump as there may be excess debri around the filter etc.

TRIAC PC Vice
Hi I was just wondering what vices would suit the TRIAC PC as it has the enclosure or do Denford sell a suitable vice?
