without measuring, I think it was 50mm I added without having to remake cables, I can't remember how I lifted the column in place but it wasn't difficult.

Re: Upgrading A Triac Spindle Drive

I've looked at it in the past but due to lack of time done nothing, from memory the Fanuc kit is sending out 0 - 10volts so any frquency inverter that can be controller by that will do it, after that I guess the strngth of the column is the limit! If you do it post some shots

Re: Help sought Viceroy AEW Horizon 3U Milling mc

It's a shame you don't have a pdf of thte manual about, as those on ebay could add it to their list

Slightly more seriously it would appear that mine is a 3U then. i wouldn't mind a slotting head - any sitting around? - drawings perhaps?

Re: triac vmc/e carousel out of sink with tool library

I think it's M27 that sets current tool to number 1 .. it's in the manual I believe if it's not M27 it's very close

Re: Triac-Fanuc ATC Problem - Rigid tapping

I was under the impression that they couldn't tap full stop never mind ridgid tapping. There is now power behind that spindle at 100rpm try a lot faster, 500 or if you're bold 800  I didn't think there was an encoder feedback on the spindle - well mind hasn't got one! I'll be interested to know...

Multifix, from the same place they make cuckoo clocks - switzerland

IMHO dickson are better and quicker to change, especially for a cnc.

Re: Denford cyclone info
