I guess you are referring to the Central lube system? If so then a sticky way oil is best, like 'UltraGlide X5'. Expensive but will last you years...

Here is the datasheet for the Triac central lube system pump. The are variations but if the same make then they follow similar lines.

I had a quick play with Les Newell's Bridgeport which has closed loop servo control with mach3 running, and very nice and responsive it was too.

Not sure if that is out-of-the-box or if a plug-in was written.
